This was a funny story. You know exactly where it's going the whole time and it's structured almost like a big long joke. The premise is great, it's a fireworks arms race between two families on a lake where they each try to outdo the other every fourth of July. It's an entertaining story that's as entertaining as it's protagonist and narrator who is quite the character. The narrator does a believable job and has great delivery but you will probably struggle the first 15 minutes to understand what the hell he's saying because it's such an exaggerated and strange accent. Might be worth a listen for the short time it takes, I'm sure it will pop into my head for years to come.
