This story was a neat surreal story that had me wondering the whole time what was
going on. Every turn of events was interesting and fresh. The whole thing was truly
creepy and horrifying. The pacing was a little slow. Apart from the premise being
very intriguing and the story being very shocking it was a little limp like a wet
noodle overall. I didn't care about the brother at all who is the main focus for a
long time.
The reading was pretty good. The part that I really didn't like concerning how the
audiobook was read was that the yelling sections were not adjusted for volume so
the narrator just actually yells in your ears. I also found the whining of the
women and child to be delivered in a very unnecessarily annoying way, and often
yelling on top of it.
