After having a recent epiphany that I need to understand developmental psychology more this was a fantastic first book to stumble into. While the wide ranges of age groups and topics might be too unfocused for many readers looking for books on parenting for me it was just the thing I was looking for. This helped me dip my toes into so many areas of developmental and behavioral psychology and helped me further question my own preconceived notions on children. I recommend this book to any parent, not really to address individual problems you're experiencing in parenting but rather to gain new perspective and insight into how young people's brains function.
