In the morning Dad and I set off for the National Czech and Slovak Museum. It was a steamy walk. The museum was
pretty nice, they had a nice collection and a great building. Next we got lunch at Lucky's on 16th and walked back
to the Hotel. We were hoping to check out the bar on the 16th floor of the hotel, but it wouldn't open til 5pm.
After a short rest in our room we went to Bricks for beers. Our first one was before happy hour, but our next was
two-for-one. We stayed at Bricks until just before the game. We had about thirty minutes before the bus was
leaving. I wanted to check out the bar on the top floor of the hotel. It opened half an hour before we were
leaving for the game and would be closed before we got back from the game. I'm glad I checked it out because
they had a great view. Jeanie, Tom, and Joel were there and Jeanie bought me a beer, because apparently you can
take them to go in Iowa. The game wasn't too great but it was actually beautiful weather for the first time this
trip. The Kernels played pretty poorly and lost the game. After the game a ton of us went to Bricks. We started
on the patio but a guy informed us he was about to power wash the roof, so when the water started spraying us we
went inside. Mike and I were the last ones again but this time I decided to go to Pub 217, their kitchen is open
til 1am so I got some pretzel bites. I got back to the room around 1am.
